How do I know God is good?

Well, I think that answer is quite simple. Folks tend to overthink this very easy question. I would say generally speaking He has done it all for me, I have not done much of anything without Him. Now, I’m not extremely into religion as I have been in other points in my life, but His mercy, love and grace have been extremely profound in my life. 

Personally, He has continuously provided me with love and patience. When my back has been against the wall, He’s said “I got this, do not worry”. He’s given me the strength to knock down the wall time and time again.

Professionally, He has guided me to make the best decisions for my professional development and advancement. Always giving me clarity and insight for every move forward. Speaking for me in every interview, every meeting, every conference. Giving me the perfect word for any given situation.

As my favorite author, Donald Miller once said:

 “It is always the simple things that change our lives. And these things never happen when you are looking for them to happen. Life will reveal answers at the pace life wishes to do so. You feel like running, but life is on a stroll. This is how God does things.”

Even when we aren’t ready - He is.
